We put our mirror together like this.
Attach frame to mirror with velcro.
Immediately place the board on the mirror.
Make sure each corner fits clean and tight.
Layout the frame face down onto a flat surface.
You only get one shot at this part so having a friend help you is a good idea.
Now you ll notice there is a small gap where the frame meets in this mitered corner.
It s much easier to stick both sides of the velcro to itself before cutting it then stick one side of the velcro to the molding and push the entire thing in place against the mirror.
If any corner is slightly twisted an 18 gauge finish nail through the corner can be used to pin it until the glue dries.
For this project i used a little bit of glue from a hot glue gun since it scrapes away so easily and one nail.
Attach one half of each set to your picture frame and the other half to the wall and press down firmly.
Designed for hanging heavy pictures and mirrors these large picture hanging strips can hold up to 16lbs per pack.
Then they velcro to each other.
Enjoy your dressed up frame and your fabulous reflection.
Frame my mirror s adhesive tape is a closed cell polyethylene foam coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive system for optimum compatibility to a variety of materials.
Spread a small amount of wood glue on each face and join with a coarse thread pocket screw.
Apply liquid nails adhesive to the back of the frame pieces then place the frame pieces in place on the mirror.
The tape is typically used as a glazing tape for window and door manufacturers but works great in the setting for add a frame.
To keep the frame in place while the adhesive is drying use strips of painter s tape.
The command strips stick to the frame and the mirror.
But we owned that house and i attached the trim with lots of nails and glue.
You will then peel the command atrips off of the mirror and the frame.
I m so pleased with the cost 30 and outcome i can t wait to start framing the other bathroom mirrors in the house.
Pushing the other adhesive side to the glass this way helps you avoid trying to match up separate velcro pieces.
When you want to remove the frame just pull it away from the mirror and the command strips will un velcro.
Carefully place your frame against the mirror and press to adhere.
Top first left side bottom then right side.
Obviously i used white painted trim around that mirror and i used my miter saw to cut 45 angles to frame that one.
When putting in the last piece it should fit like a puzzle nice and tight.
