I absolutely love love love love the finished effect kind of bold and delicate flamboyant and dainty all at once. When making a mandala to fit inside a hoop the important thing is to make it smaller than the finished hoop size. I ve found that you need around 2 to 2 5 cm all around so that the mandala can be gently pulled out and stretched when attached to the hoop. When choosing colours for your mandala i would suggest picking out a palette of 8 colours.
